The patent is granted to DVX, LLC and licensed exclusively by Arterium Medical. This patent with know-how allows Arterium to make co-polymer ultrasound sensors that are more efficient than previously possible.

The claimed invention of an “Angle-Independent Doppler System for Screening” is a fundamental patent on multiple ultrasound receivers with known phase relationship used to make the ultrasound beam pattern more focused. The patent is granted to DVX, LLC and exclusively licensed to Arterium Medical. The co-polymer thin film sensor uses this technique.
